Privacy Policy

To access some areas of the site, you will be required to enter user information such as a username, password and e-mail address. This information will not be used for anything other than what it was original collected for. All passwords that are stored on our database are encrypted, protecting them from unauthorised access.
We will not pass your data onto any third parties but your e-mail address may be used to contact you. To opt out of any e-mail contact, you can follow the unsubscribe link displayed at the bottom of the e-mails we send.
By using the site, you agree to accept our cookie policy. Cookies will only be used to hold your information to improve your experience of using the website. Cookies do not offer any threat to you as the user but it is possible to disable these in your browser settings.

Rules

These rules govern your participation in the games available at www.knowyourfootball.co.uk. By playing these games, you agree to be bound by our rules.

How To Enter
|
Each user is entitled to one entry into the Competition and entry is free. Users must not register multiple accounts. Users found to register more than once may have all registrations under their control removed from the game. One account will be permitted per valid email address.
Online Registration is made using the KnowYourFootball website and scoring will begin as soon as a user has registered, activated their account and joined a prediction league.
We shall not be responsible for Registrations lost in transmission or received late for any reason. We recommend that registration and prediction score changes are not left until just before the published deadlines.

Scoring Points
|
Points will be awarded based on all fixtures in the competition entered. Points from abandoned matches will not count towards scoring in the Competition.
Before each match kicks off, you can predict what you think the final score will be. You can change your predictions up until the scheduled kick off time.
Once the match is completed, you will be rewarded with points based on how accurate your predictions were.
For the knockout rounds, extra time will be included but penalty shoot outs will not be included.
For each score that you predict correctly, you will score 3 points.
Eg. You Predict: 2-0. Actual Score: 2-0.
For each prediction with the correct goal difference, you will score 2 points.
Eg. You Predict: 2-0. Actual Score: 3-1.
If you predict the correct outcome for the match, you will score 1 point.
Eg. You Predict: 2-0. Actual Score: 4-0.
For an incorrect prediction, you will score 0 points.
Scores will be updated regularly, online at www.knowyourfootball.co.uk.
In order to score points from the first match, predictions must be submitted before the first scheduled kick off in the selected competition.
